Staying clean in camp, what's the deal?
I can't stand being dirty. Just before it gets dark, I heat up this huge coffee pot of water on the camp stove to boiling, and pour it into a bucket and mix it with cold water. I get a towel and a pair of flip flops and step behind a few trees and wash off. My biggest problem is gettin my hair clean; it's down past my shoulders. I keep myself in good shape: if you catch a sight of me washing, and want to stare, I figure that is your problem, not mine. I shave, and use clean clothes every day.
I have been with people who simply don't wash, change clothes, or shave the entire weekend. What the heck is the deal with that? Don't they know they smell terribly?

How exactly does that work? Explain that to me. I will wait right here. I can't wait to hear your logic on that one. Let me get some popcorn and a drink. This should be good.

help with camping pot?
my camp stove quit and i desperately put the coleman coffee pot on the fire. the coffee brewed, but i blackened the pot. i didn't care much, but now i realize (duh) that i can't hold the pot without being so smudged and the scrubbing will take me 'til the next trip....which is sunday. how can i clean it? is vinegar good for this, too?

I have no coffee pot except one of those blue metal camp pots and I need information on how to use it. I am brewing some coffee right now but do not know if it will stop perculating on it's own or if there is a time limit I go by. In the 1960's when we used electric perculators you knew when the coffee was done by the perculater stopped perculating
